There has been an assortment of crimes that has occurred in and around southern Oklah oma. On January 22, 2022, Kevin Robertson was fatally shot in the Pierces Grocery Store parking lot at First Street and Highway 70.
Officers later caught up with the suspected shooter, Charles Michael Gilliland, a 63-year-old male from Boswell, the same day at the casino in Grant, Okla.
A Marshall County man was arrested on January 13, 2022. Michael Morris, a 32-year-old male from Kingston, is accused of allegedly shooting some of an Eagle Ridge resident's ducks.Accordingtothecourt documents, Morris shot at the ducks with a bb gun to "cruelly injury"theducks.He is facing charges for Cruelty to Animals (Shooting) and Public Intoxication. If convicted, Morris could face up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Michael Treadwell, a 48-year-old male from Marietta, is also facing charges for Animal Cruelty. He is accused of starving his two horses. In November 2021, an anonymous person approached a Love County Deputy and alleged that he had been feeding two horses in a nearby pasture that looked emaciated and under-nourished. He also noted that the horses never had water.
Once the deputy investigated, he found one horse that was extremely skinny with its hips showing and another dead in the pasture. Treadwell was arrested on J anuary 3, 2022, to face the charges.
Treadwell is also facing charges stemming from the January 3 arrest date for Possession of CDS - Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia , ObstructinganOfficer,Carrying a Firearm while Under the InfluenceofDrugsandPublic Intoxication.
Jay Herrington, a 58-year-old male from Ringling, was arrested on January 3 for pointing his firearm at male victim. Court documents show that Herrington pointedhisSportKingCarbine.22 and was arrested for Feloniously Pointing a Firearm.

TykwanMcGee,a26-year-old male from Ardmore is facingchargesfortherapeof an adult woman and a child under the age of 10. He was arrested on January 14 and is being held in the Carter County Jail for three counts of Sexual Assault.
