Charles Ray Eddington

Charles Ray Eddington 83, of Davis, Okla. passed away on Thursday January 20, 2022, at the Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Okla. He was born on June 19, 1938 in Cumberland, Okla. to the late Raymond Eddington and Gracie Lorene Luker Eddington. Charles was raised in Cumberland and graduated from Madill High School in 1956. He attended two years of college before joining the military, serving for three years and receiving an honorable discharge.

Charles married Kaye Francis Beggs on August 18, 1958 in Durant, Okla. He retired in 2000 from Dolese Brothers Company in Davis after 37 years of employment. Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davis and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar, singing in church, and watching sports. He loved working and racing cars and loved his family.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Eddington; and Daughter in-law, Lori Lynn Eddington

He is survived by his wife, Kaye Eddington ofDavis, Okla.; son, Charles Kenny Eddington of Davis, Okla., grandchild, Derek Eddington, Ada, Okla.; sisters, Brenda Armitage and husband Ron of Cumberland, Okla., Janis Faye Lesley of Lewisville, Texas; an brother, Raymond Jr. and wife June Eddington of Norman, Okla.

Visitation was held Tuesday, J anuary 25, 2022 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m. with a family hour from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.

Funeral service was Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. at 10:00 a.m. Ron Armitage officiated the service. Organist was Lisa Leslie Cramer. Interment was at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery in
