The Auxillary met on November 15, 2021. Eleven members and one guest attended. Mary Green’s November birthday was celebrated. Refreshments were hosted by Merry Blevins and Kitty Norris.
Disaster Coordinator, Paula Zimmerman, reported three fire calls, 20 EMS calls, four wrecks, two grass fires and one assist in Madill.
The door prize was won by Mary Burry. The December meeting will be a Christmas luncheon December 20, 2021.
Each member who attends is asked to bring a dish for the lunch. There will be a short business meeting at 11:00 a.m. and lunch will begin immediately following the meeting.
There will be a gift exchange after lunch for those who would like to participate. If participating, the member should bring a wrapped gift with a limit of around $15.00.
The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the month at the Training/Community Center at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
The Texoma Fire District Auxiliary meets the third Monday of the month at 10978 Parkview, just south of Rooster Creek Bridge at 1:30 PM with a social gathering at 1:00 p.m..
The exercise/stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and the cards/games are on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Auxillary members are welcome to join in on the fun. Bring finger foods to share and have a fun time.
If your interested in renting the Texoma Community Building , contact Gayla Freeman at (580) 565-4043 and leave a message. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day. (Must be a member of the Texoma Fire District.)
If you are interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580)565-4491. You can pick up an application from the mailbox at the Texoma Fire Station located at 10089 Texoma Park Rd., Kingston, Ok. Training will be provided!
Correction! The Lighthouse Methodist Church at 4923 Alberta Creek Road has a free meal the last Wednesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Come and enjoy their nutritious food, mostly homemade desserts and warm fellowship. The Lighthouse UMC will also be holding a Christmas Open House on Sunday December 12, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be refreshments.
