Jesus Diaz is a senior at the Madill High School. His parents are Tina and Jesus Diaz, and he has two brothers named Ozzy and Aaron.
He has attended Madill Public Schools since the beginning of kindergarten. He participates in football and throws shot put and discus in track. Diaz said that his older mm brother has always been the source of inspiration.
“My inspiration in sports has always been my brother Ozzy because I grew up watching him play high school football and he has always M pushed me to be better in everything I do,” Diaz said.
He said his favorite memories from sports are all the fun memories and laughter he and his teammates had at their position meals. It helped them grow closer as friends and teammates. He also wanted to thank all the ones who have helped him in his journey.
“I would like to thank my coaches for all the experiences we have had together as a team, for always pushing us to be our best, and showing us how working together can accomplish great things.”
Diaz said he has a lot of appreciation for all the teachers he has had throughout the years in Madill because they made school enjoyable. He said Janlee Hoppers is another integral part of his life.
“She has always helped my brothers and I with anything we have ever needed,” Diaz said. “She has always treated us with kindness. She always checks up on me it reminds me how important it is to have people in your life that inspire you and help you reach your goals!”
“My dad is my inspiration in life,” he continued. “He has always set amazing examples for my brothers and me. He has showed us how being respectful can get you a long way and is always teaching us new things. My goal in life is to be successful in every way that he is.”
Diaz credits his parents for making him into the person he is.
“I would like to thank my parents for always believing in me and making me the person that I am today,” he said. “They are the best parents I could’ve asked for.” When it comes to advice
