Vincent McQueary is a seventh-grade student at Madill Middle School and recently donated twelve inches of his hair to Wigs for Kids.
When he was in the fourth grade, his mom suggested that he grow his hair out to donate to children with cancer. As time went on, Vincent began to love his long hair.
After nearly three years, he decided that it was time to donate his hair in the hopes that a child with cancer could have a wig made.
Vincent’s mom scheduled an appointment with Tiffany Rodriquez at Michelle's Hair Salon in Madill. Vincent felt very strongly about how the hair that he was donating shouldn’t cost a child with cancer any extra expenses, so Tiffany shared with them the Wigs for Kids organization and how they provide wigs to children in need at no cost to the child.
