Friday, October 22, 2021, Senator candidate Jerry Alford will host a meet and greet at 10:00 a.m. at the Senior Citizen building on S. Main in Kingston.
Saturday, October 23, CASA of Southern Oklahoma will be hosting their Second Annual Superhero Fun Run. Registration will be by the playground and pavilion at the Regional Park, located at 2704 N Rockford Road, Ardmore.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the run begins at 9:00 a.m. CASA invites your family to enjoy the run for children 12 and under and bounce in the 10 bounce houses that will be available until 11:00 a.m. CASA is asking for $10 donations for the run and unlimited bouncing. Bring your family by for some fun.
Friday, October 29, the Kingston UMC will host a Soup/Chili fundraiser. The times will be 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. For a $5 donation, you can get soup or chili, cornbread, dessert and a drink. There will also be a bake and craft sale. The Kignston Pharmacy will be on site from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to offer flu shots.
