Marilyn Kay Adams, 70 of Madill, Okla. passed away on June 2, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on June 14, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Nicholas James Livingston and Helen Irene Walton Livingston.
Kay was raised in Corpus Christi and later moved to Norman, Okla. where she worked in the Administrative Offices at the University of Oklahoma. She married Wendyl Gene Adams on July 8, 1995 in Kingfisher, Okla., joining him and his family in Madill where she lived until her passing. Wendyl preceded her in death on September 26, 2001.
Kay was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Madill and Oklahoma Eastern Star, Mattie Bruce Chapter #440. She enjoyed crafting, reading, and Bible study. She loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, OKC Thunder and everything OU. Most of al,l Kay loved her family, her Church and Eastern Star family and her sweet pet, Bree. She is survived by her children; Lewis Adams and wife Vera of Lone Grove, Okla., Jim Higginbotham and wife Gena of Wewoka, Okla., John Adams and wife Rheanon of Havre, Mont., Jackie Britt of Sulphur, Okla., grandchildren; Caitlin, Chloe, Brad, Carrie, Jamie, Aron, Amanda, Lonny and Cindy, great grandchildren; Carsen and Parker, brother, Gerald (Jerry) Livingston and wife Nilza, niece, Kimberly Haytock, nephews; Nicholas Ross Livingston and Jason David Livingston, and her beloved pet, Bree.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, baby sister, Joann Livingston, step-son, Jerry Higginbotham and step-son-in-law, Lonny Britt.
Memorial Service will be Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Madill, Okla. Steve and Wanda Littrell will officiate the service. Service will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
