A woman was injured in a collision with a train this morning. Madill Fire Chief Mike Idleman said at approximately 8:50 a.m. a woman was hit by a train while attempting to cross a railroad track. The accident occurred on 70F and Highway 106. Officials said the woman driver was ejected from her vehicle, but there were no other occupants.

The railroad crossing in question is locally known as a blind crossing. This means that there are no railroad crossing lights or arms, and it is difficult to see when a train is coming.

The identity of the driver is unknown at this time. She is in critical condition.

Stay tuned to The Madill Record. We will update as they are available.
