Saundra Kay Lee, 73 of Russett, Okla. passed away on March 12, 2021 at the hospital in Madill. She was born on December 4, 1947 in Madill to the late Louis Dean French and Pearl Helen Stafford French. Saundra was raised in Madill where she graduated high school in 1967.
She married Roger Carl Lee on June 10, 1997 in Madill. Saundra worked as Deputy City Clerk in Madill for several years before going to work in Tishomingo, Okla. as the City Clerk and City Manager and retired in 2006.
She enjoyed traveling, growing plants, shopping for antiques and watching her grandchildren play sports. Saundra fought a lengthy illness for nine years where she was cared for in her home by her husband up till her passing.
She is survived by her husband Roger Lee, Russett of Oklahoma, children; Christi Wilkinson and husband Gerald of Russett, Okla., Carla Fincher and husband Derek of Ringling, Okla., grandchildren; Chance Wilkinson and wife Jessica, Chelsea Wright and husband Bobby, Taylor Richardson and husband Garrett, Coltin Fincher and Kysen Fincher, great grandchildren; Slade Wilkinson and Axel Wright, and sister Rhonda Adams and husband Clifford of Kingston, Okla.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Joe Patterson will officiate the service. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Sardis Cemetery in Sardis, Okla. Service will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
