Mora Elizabeth Spence 101, of Oklahoma City, Okla. passed from this life November 28, 2020 at Rivendell Memory Care Center in Oklahoma City. She was born on March 7, 1919 at the family home in Woodville, Okla. to the late John Jasper Spence and Ona E. Allen Spence.
Mora was raised on the family farm in Woodville where she attended twelve years of school graduating in 1937. After graduation, Mora worked at manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City during World War II. After the war, she went to work for Continental Railways in Dallas, Texas before returning to Madill and opening Mora’s Beauty Shop out of her home.
One of Mora’s greatest attributes was taking care of others and always wanting to help. Mora was a member of the Madill church of Christ, she cared for her family and loved sewing, and making many quilts for people. Mora is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Services will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Chris Webb will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
