Virginia Spears, 89, of Kingston, Okla. passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Lakeland Manor in Ardmore, Okla. She was born on January 22, 1931 in Vamoosa, Okla. to the late Herman Herschel Atkinson and Bertha Berry Atkinson.
Virginia was raised in Vamoosa and graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1948. She worked as a secretary for Tinker Air Force Base for seven years. Virginia married Derrell Key Spears on October 18, 1958 and he preceded her in death on November 211 Plaza 8, 2008. • She P.O. lived Box in 529, Houston, Mad Texas, PHONE: Ada, Oklahoma 580-795-3355 and Minnesota FAX: before moving to Kingston where she lived for 23 years.
Virginia was a member of the Art Guild in Madill. She enjoyed painting, cooking, reading and getting her hair and nails fixed. Her greatest loves were her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Julianna Spears of Kingston, Okla.; Kirby King and wife Karen of Corpus Christi, Texas; Kevin King of Moore, Okla.; grandchildren; Katelyn Kruciak of Kingston, Okla., Austin King of Moore, Okla., Dylan Kruciak of Durant, Okla.; great grandchild Maxwell Key Kruciak; sister Marilyn Meek and husband Tom of Odessa, Texas.
Virginia return was preceded with approval in death by or her corrections parents, husband, neede and one daughter: Caroline Spears.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 29, Date: 2020 Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Okla. at 2:00 pm. Joe Patterson officiated the service. Services were under the direction of Approved Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
