As everyone knows Memorial Day is fast approaching. This is a very busy weekend for the First Responders. TFD would like for everyone to practice safety first so that there are no accidents on the unofficial beginning of summer.
The ladies of the Auxiliary will be hosting their Mexican Pile On on Saturday May 23 from 4:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. The Ladies Auxiliar looks forward to seeing all their neighbors at the Texoma Training and Community center at 10978 Parkview in Kingston.
There will also be the big 250th year July 4th celebratiopn coming up soon. Anyone with an old car just sitting around is encouraged to please donate it to help wounded vetrans. They gave so much for everyone.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
