Marshall County held a local election for empty seats on all three town council/board of trustees. As of 8:15 p.m. on April 1, the unofficial results show that John Garrison and Ericka Cryer both won in Kingston with 60 and 54 votes respectively. Jacob Stafford won the unexpired term for Kingston Board of Trustees with 63 votes. The winners for the Oakland Board of Trustess were Sam Dishmon with 36 votes, Mike Idleman with 26 and Addison Johnson with 25. Summer Bryant won the seat for the open Madill City Council seat with 106 votes. According to Marshall County Election Office, as long as nobody files a contest of election, the results stand.
