Jars of Love

Alliance Health Madill is collecting jars of peanut butter and other nut butters for the 3rd year in a row to help combat hunger. Peanut butter is high in nutritional value and has a long shelf life, making it a much needed item for food banks.

The 2025 recipient is Hope for Marshall County. HFMC began its operations in 2010 and, on average, supports 300 families each month in addressing food insecurity. As food prices continue to rise, many community members are finding it difficult to afford basic necessities. With 1 in 4 people facing hunger, HFMC has been a vital resource, offering not only a food pantry, but also programs like Fill the Sleigh, Blessing Boxes and various initiatives for children, seniors and veterans.

The Jars of Love peanut butter drive will run from March 3 through March 24. Last year, Alliance Health Madill successfully donated 462 jars of peanut butter to Bread of Life ministries. This far surpassed our donation in 2023 of 134 jars.

Drop off locations for the jars of peanut butter are Alliance Health Madill, Allicance Health Primary Care Kingston, Pharmacy Plus, Minor Munitions and Marshall County Chamber of Commerce.
