In the June 13 issue of The Madill Record, Karyn Cox was incorrectly identified as Kasey Cox’s mother. There is no familial relationship between Karyn Cox and Kasey Cox. The only thing they share is the common last name.
Many residents assume that there is a familial connection between the two, because Karyn started the petition to get Kasey reinstated. However, that is not true. Karyn said she is simply seeking justice for the former Kingston Police Chief because there was no reason to fire Kasey.
“I, and many others, feel Kasey was wrongly fired and none of us truly believe this is for the good of Kingston or Marshall County,” Karyn said.
