The Order of the Eastern Star, an organization composed of both men and women that is a dedicated to charity, truth and loving kindness. It endeavors to improve the quality of life of its members and the community in which it serves through charitable activities and community service.
On May 12, 2024, Kingston Order of the Eastern Star presented scholarships to two Kingston seniors - Violet Morton and Jesus (JJ) McKinney. Angela Beck represented the Eastern Star. Eastern Star depends on our community participation in our fundraisers to be able to present scholarships, give Christmas to a few local children, and to aid those in distress.
