Two women arrested for Breaking and Entering

Twowomenwerearrested after allegedly squatting at a residence. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Highway 70 regarding individuals who were in a house that was supposed to be vacant.

Once officers arrived, they observed a female, later identified as Lisa Maxon, walk from the house to a moving truck that was parked outside of the residence. The deputy contacted Maxon and inquirediftherewasanybody else in the residence. Maxon informed the officer that Gwendolyn Stell was inside the residence.

The officer approached the front door and observed Stell walk from the inside of the residence. Deputy Conway instructed the two suspects to move away from the house and into the front yard. Maxon allegedly told the officer that they had a storage unit on property and were retrieving personal items.

Conway informed told Maxon that did not give them permission to enter the residence. Conwayinquiredifthe items in the house belonged to them. Maxon did not answer Conway’s question, but claimed they were trying to rent the property, they just weren’t renting it yet.

Both suspects told the officer the house was open, and they wanted to put their pets inside where it was cooler. Conway informed the suspects that he was going to charge them with Burglary, and Stell allegedly became hysterical, begging Conway not to charge them.

The deputy asked Stell whose vehicles were on the property. The suspect informed Conway that the jeep was theirs and they rented the moving truck.

Conway peeked in the back of the moving van and saw various tools, ice chests, ac units, totes, and other miscellaneous property. The officer then placed both suspects in handcuffs and placed them in the back of the police unit.

After Conway received permission to search the vehicle, he found a small clear back with a white powdery substance. The substance later tested positive for Methamphetamines.

The officer read both suspects their Miranda Rights. Both women stated they understood their rights and wanted to answer questions.

Conway asked who the bag belonged to, and Maxon allegedly took ownership of the substance.

The officer then spoke to the reporting party to find out what happened. She stated she arrived to clean the residence and noticed the two vehicles in front. She also noted both women were asleep in the vehicle. That was when she called 911.

The reporting party said she noticed items that had started to come up missing over the past two weeks.

She was never able to catch anybody. The missing items were reported as being lawn chairs, a water hose, a shop vacuum and other items.

The officer was later informed by Marshall County Sheriff Donald Yow that he had gone to the residence to have the vehicle repossessed. That was when he noticed that animal feces from the suspects’ pets was smeared all over the walls and floor “quite severely.”

Maxon, a 61-year-old female from Mannsville is facing charges for Second-Degree Burglary, Possession of CDS and Malicious Injury to Property. An online search found priors for Possession of CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Petit Larceny, and Malicious Injury to Property.

Stell, a female from Mannsville is facing charges for Breaking and Entering. No Oklahoma priors were found in an online search.

Lisa Maxon was arressted on multiple charges after officers answered a call referring to individuals staying in a house that was supposed to be vacant. She is facing charges for Breaking and Entering, Possession of CDS and Malicious Injury to Property.
