TFD: Surviving July 4th

I hope everyone survived the 4th of July with no injuries. It sounded like a war going on out here at Washita Point. With the exception of a few scared dogs, all had a good time.

The Texoma Fire District Auxiliary will have its regular meetings on the third Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering at 1:00 p.m.

The exercise/stretching classes have resumed weekly on Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Cards/games have resumed on the second Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for the time being.

The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors will meet the first Thursday of every month, at the Training/Community Center at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

If you are interested in renting the Community Center, please contact Cecelia Mizell at (580) 564-1550, the cost is $75.00 per day.

If you are interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565-4491. You can also pickup an application from the mailbox at the station, fill it out and return to the station. Chief Cissell will contact you. Everyone is welcome, so please consider joining! The fire department truly needs your support.

Lighthouse Methodist Church has started back with their Wednesday night meals on the last Wednesday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also, Vacation Bible School will start on June 21 and go till to June 25.
