The heat has finally set in here at Lake Texoma. So, remember to hydrate, use Gatorade or other dinks containing electrolytes. Water alone does not replace your electrolytes.
The Texoma Fire District Auxiliary will have its regular meetings on the third Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering at 1:00 p.m.
The exercise/stretching classes have resumed weekly on Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Cards/games have resumed on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. for the time being. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in on the fun. Bring finger food to share and have a fun time.
On Saturday, July 24, 2021, Lighthouse United Methodist Church had an appreciation lunch and meet and greet for the Texoma Fire Department. Everyone had a good time.
The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors will meet the first Thursday of every month, at the Training/Community Center at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
If you are interested in renting the Community Center, please contact Cecelia Mizell at (580) 564-1550, the cost is $75.00 per day.
If you are interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565-4491. You can also pickup an application from the mailbox at the station, fill it out and return to the station. Chief Cissell will contact you. Everyone is welcome, so please consider joining! The fire department truly needs your support.
Lighthouse Methodist Church has started back with their Wednesday night meals on the last Wednesday of the Month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
