I know that these days can be trying, depressing, and boring, but we must stay safe and keep our senior citizens safe and healthy. There are lots of things we can do during this time, work in the yard, take a ride around the neighborhood, take a walk, If we remain 6 feet apart. we’re okay.

We could have a bear hunt! Put a bear in your window, on the front porch or on the dashboard of your vehicle. Take your children riding around the neighborhood on bicycles, golf carts or automobiles and see how many they can find. It gives them a break from the house, too.

We are still looking for people interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, please contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565-4491. Everyone is welcome, men and women.

Without the volunteers to protect our homes out here in the country, we wouldn’t have any protection at all. So, think about your families and properties protection. The fire department truly needs your support.

The Wednesday evening Lighthouse United Methodist Church “No strings attached” meal for the community is canceled until further notice.
