For fifteen years, things that go bump in the night is not only looked for but expected at the annual Texas Frightmare Weekend. Presented by Arrow Video, this event takes place in Dallas, Texas at the Hyatt Regency in the D/FW airport.

True to its motto, "The Southwest's Premier Horror Convention," their goal is to provide fans with an unrivaled experience by celebrating all aspects of genre films. Texas Frightmare Weekend hosts celebrity appearances, autograph signings, screenings, exclusive parties, and horror memorabilia vendors from all over the country.

The event is also extremely proud to have featured the rising talents of many Texas "Fright Makers" in screenings, panel discussions and question and answer sessions. The weekend began on a great note coming back after a one-year break due to Covid, the fans, many showing up in cosplay outfits to meet and great their favorite horror stars such as Danny Trejo, Malcolm McDowell, and even Tony Todd. Even the Candy Man himself, careful not to say that out loud three times.

Texas Frightmare hosted a little something for every horror fan, from movie directors to book authors, even the crew from one of Dallas’ number one haunted houses. The Dark Hour made an appearance, and musical guest Corey Taylor lead singer of Slipknot took time off his current tour to do a Q&A, sign autographs and pose for a picture.
