Super C has a 'dunking' good time

Super C grocery store in Kingston, Okla. held their Customer Appreciation Day Saturday, June 21 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. It was a beautiful afternoon to attend the event along with the opportunity to throw a pitch and dunk store manager Jim Dowling.

Many customers and first-time visitors showed up to enjoy the free festivities that included ice cream, cotton candy, cold drinks, popcorn, snow cones, hot dogs and hamburgers. They served over 500 grilled hot dogs and hamburger baskets with chips and all the fixings.

Local businesses such as Greg’s Rockin’ Goat Coffee also joined in the celebration. Jesse Alan Horn performed.

There were a ton of raffle prizes given away such as, a bicycle, cooler, chairs and a Weber 36” griddle. The store also handed out recycle bags to customers to encourage them to use them when shopping.

Super C stated they will take off five cents per each reusable bags used when checking out. They also offer discounts on Tuesdays for customers over 55 years old.

Generosity from the dunk booth went to provide 15 Summer Snack Program bags which was matched by the store making a total of 30 Snack bags. Summer Snack Program bags can be purchased in the store for $9.99 to benefit local children.

Super C stated, “It’s an honor to be part of your hometown tradition” and they are “Grateful” for each and every customer they serve.
