Many people don’t understand when somebody tells them they are a CASA volunteer. Most respond with an awkward expression or an odd smile. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate.
A CASA volunteer is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in foster care. They are the eyes, ears and voice for the children that are deprived. They help ensure a child’s voice is heard.
