Local man facing distribution charges after investigation

Gregory Bass, a 57-yearold male from Madill, is facing multiple charges after an investigationbytheMarshall Sheriff’s Office. The MCSO conducted an investigation into the possible sale of Methamphetamines.

MCSheriffDonaldYowissued a press release explaining the event. He said that on February 27, The MCSO conducted an early morning operation in the northern partofthecounty.TheMCSO pairedupwiththeOklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Madill Police Department to serve an arrest warrant for Bass. They also executed a search warrant for the residence.

There was an arrest warrant issued for Bass, and he was subsequently arrested. He is facing charges for Distribution of CDS – Methamphetamines, Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping and Selling CDS and Unlawful Use of Communication Facility in the Commission of a Felony. Records show that Bass’ bond is $35,000. Yow said that Bass is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and it is an ongoing investigation with more charges to come.
