A possible road rage incident took two lives and injured others.

On July 13 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Ralph McEnnerney, a 52-yearold from Kingston, was traveling east on US 70 just outside of Durant in a 2000 Volvo. Some reports state that McEnnerney deliberately hit a 2017 Chevrolet driven by Glen Kinyon, a 52-year-old male from Mead. Oklahoma State Highway Patrol Homicide Unit Investigator Captain Ronnie Hampton said their investigation shows the suspect rammed cars intentionally.

“There was information for people that weren’t involved in the collision that had seen what was going on prior to the crash that led us to believe that there had been two vehicles having some sort of disagreement as they drove down the highway,” Hampton said in a press release.

“This person intentionally rammed the side of that vehicle,” Hampton continued. “I don’t know [what] he expected the outcome was. All the information I have right now is an intentional vehicle strike.”

The force from the impact of the two vehicles pushed Kinyon’s vehicle into the westbound lane, consequently colliding with a 1980 Ford driven by Steven Williams, a 48-year-old male from Caddo.

McEnnerney fled the scene of the accident, leaving behind carnage in his wake.

Kinyon was transported to Texoma Medical Center in Sherman with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries, and listed in stable condition.

His wife, Violet, is a 38-year-old female and is listed in stable condition at Texoma Medical Center. Randy Kinyon, the driver’s 47-year-old brother from Henderson, Texas was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was pinned in the vehicle for over three and a half hours. Kinyon’s 19-year-old was treated at Alliance Medical Center in Durant and released.

Williams was treated at Alliance Medical Center in Durant and released.

Shelly Mayo, a 46-year-old female from Caddo, was a passenger of Williams. She died en route to the hospital.

McEnnerney has been charged with a slew of felony charges in Bryan County.

Court records show his charges are Murder in the Second Degree, Murder in the First, three charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Leaving the Scene of a Fatality Accident and Driving a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol and Drugs.

He also was charged with a misdemeanor of Driving While License is Revoked.

An online search of court records show that the suspect recently served a jail sentence due to a previous DWI.
