Madill resident and Ultimate Bullfighter Dylan Idleman won first place at an American Freestyle Bull Fighting event in Pasadena, Texas on Saturday, September 30th. Being ranked 6th out of 80 Bullfighters is not an easy task to accomplish.
Dylan said he has been interested in and working on his bullfighting technique sincehewas16.Withthesupport of his family and those in the bullfighting community, he has worked hard to get where he is today.
Idelman started out going to bullfighting school while still a senior at Madill High School. “The fans and being able to compete in bullfights closetohome”iswhatheloves most about this sport.
“The Fans make it energetic,” Idleman said.
He said that anybody wishing to get in the bull fighting business should start early and attend any schools available since it is such a high-energy sport. Equally important is being surrounded by those in the Ultimate Bullfighting community and learning from them.
