Hello Enos. It seems that the Fall temperatures are finally making their appearance this week. Please remember to check your heaters and be prepared for the cooler temperatures. And, of course, don’t forget about your outdoor pets.

It is time to set our clocks back one hour Saturday night, November 2 before you go to bed. Also, this is the time to change your batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Fall Festival in downtown Kingston has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 3, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. due to forecasted rain.

It is time for the annual Warm Up Marshall County. Your donations of coats, hoodies, gloves, scarves, toboggans for all school ages, Pre-K thru high school is needed. Dropoff location will be at the Pharmacy Plus in Madill. Please contact Cindy McKibban at 580-564-5267 for questions or further information.

The Lark Cemetery Board will be having the bean and cornbread fundraiser on November 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Enos Community Center. There will also be a silent auction. This event will assist with upkeep and expanding fencing for the cemetery.

Texoma Trade Days is coming to our community. This will be held the first Saturday of each month, beginning December 7 and will open at 7:30 a.m. It will be held at 4356 Enos Road at the Texoma Corral. The restaurant will also be open for breakfast/lunch/dinner. If you are interested in becoming a vendor or would like more information, please contact Kacey at 580-504-4394 or Karla at 405-808-9315.

Happy birthday wishes to Kay Bridgman and Carl Moss.

The Enos/Cardinal Cove VFD will be having 3 drawings this year to benefit the Christmas for Kids. Drawing will be held following the Christmas Parade on December 7.

There will be a raffle for various gift certificates and a 50/50 cash drawing. These tickets are $1 each. There will also be a drawing for a Mossberg twelve-gauge shotgun, these tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20. The $1 tickets will be available for purchase at The Enos Gateway Mall, Vonnie’s Bar, Texoma Corral and Dean’s Dispensary. Tickets for the shotgun are available from Copperhead Motors and Vonnie’s Bar.

Also, members of the VFD will have tickets available for purchase. And don’t forget to drop off your new, unwrapped toy at The Enos Gateway Mall, Enos Dollar General or Texoma Corral.
