Hello Enos. The Christmas season is here. Lights are going up, trees are being decorated and shopping is underway. Remember to use caution with your indoor decorations and keep your trees away from heat sources. Cold air is looming and please do not forget about your outside pets. Make sure they have shelter from the cold temperatures.

This Saturday, December 12, is the Annual Enos Christmas Parade. Let’s make this year’s event one of the best yet. Decorate your parade rides and come out for some fun. The weather looks to be great this year. If you are not going to participate in the parade, then come out and line the road and enjoy the entries.

The parade lineup will begin at noon at the Enos Firehouse and parade will start at 1:00 p.m.. Don’t forget that the drawing for the raffle items will be held at LaJeanne’s Plants’N Things at 2:00 p.m. This will combine with the Christmas Festival, which will have lots of activities for the whole family.

If you have items to donate for Christmas for Kids, there’s still time. Contact Alice Tomlinson at 541-215-3075 to arrange a drop off time.

Happy birthday wishes to Mark Sylvester, Debbie Redding, Brenda Monroe Martin and Lori Duncan.

Have a great week, do something nice for someone and remember, “Happiness is not so much in HAVING as it is SHARING. We make a living by what we GET, but we make a life by what we GIVE.” - unknown
