Darian Hampton, a 27-year-old male from Ardmore is facing multiple charges after a shooting incident on February 17. At approximately 6:10 p.m., the Marshall County Sheriff's Office received a call from a man who said he had just shot another man. The caller then told dispatch that they feared for their life.
MCSO and MCEMS both arrived on scene. Deputies assisted the Madill Police Department in securing the scene while EMS provided the victim with medical care. Deputies also detained Hampton.
Deputies interviewed all the witnesses and Hampton was brought to MCSO and interviewed. After collecting all the interviews and evidence, Hampton was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Detention Center for Attempted Murder, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and three counts of Child Endangerment.
Hampton is innocent until proven guilty.
