The National Sand Bass Festival held their annual talent contest on June 5. There were three categories; adult, teen and junior. In the adult category, Diamond Armstrong took 3rd place by singing 'I don't want to be you anymore,' Christina Gabrielle took 2nd with a song called 'Jesus' Name' and Curtis Muncrief won 1st by singing 'Crying.'
Holden McGahey took 1st place in the teen category by singing 'Beautiful Lies,' Cody Shaw won 2nd place with her rendition of 'Shut up and Fish' and Vincent Brown and Jeff Hampton took 3rd with 'You look so good in Love.'
In the junior category, Hadon Stuckey won 1st by singing 'Bright,' Lydia Goodin took 2nd with her rendition of 'Jailhouse Rock' and Bella Thomas took 3rd by singing 'Wild Flower.'
