Oklahoma Farmers and Ranchers can apply for financial assistance

Body
STILLWATER, Oklahoma – Agricultural producers who have not already applied, are still eligible for USDA’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP), which provides direct payments to offset impacts from the coronavirus pandemic. The application and a payment calculator are now available online, and USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) staff members are available via phone, fax and online tools to help producers complete applications. The agency set up a call center in order to simplify how they serve new customers across the nation.

Texoma Fire District: Firework Celebration

Body
The Fourth of July is swiftly approaching. Since the Chickasaw are not putting on a firework display this year, the only one in this area will be performed near the Catfish Bay convenience store on highway 70. Earlier this week, two of the Texoma Fire Department female firefighters assisted with a control burn. There is still a need for more volunteers. All adults, male or female, interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, please contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565-4491 or pickup an application from the mailbox at the station, fill it out and return to the station. Chief Cissell will contact you. Everyone is welcome, so consider joining. The fire department truly needs your support.
