There is still a couple of weeks remaining to donate to the “Warm Up Marshall County” program. Please, make a donation of a new or slightly-used, clean coat, gloves, scarves, and hats.
The items are distributed through both Madill and Kingston schools in all the grades (elementary, middle and high school). The counselors see the kids and see who is in need.
This has been proven as the easier to do host the coat drive. It keeps everybody’s pride intact.
This is third annual coat drive. Other counties have held coat drives and been successful, and the idea to host it in Marshall County popped up.
The event in 2017 collected 200, and the 2018 one amassed 100.
Please help this year’s numbers top the past. As the box gets full, then it gets distributed.
Donations can be dropped off at Pharmacy Plus in Madill through Dec. 6. “We don’t like to compete with Christmas charities”
All donations will remain in Marshall County and are greatly appreciated.
Please, contact Cindy McKibban, at 580-564-5267 for further information.
