The September rains are bringing significant relief to the drought and things are greening up nicely. The temperatures are staying in the low 90’s but the humidity makes things feel a lot hotter.
I’m not going to complain though. I’m sure that not too far in the distant future I’ll be wishing for these day. Take care my friends. Till we meet again.

The Texoma Fire District Auxiliary meets the third Monday of the month at 10978 Parkview, just south of Rooster Creek Bridge at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering at 1:00 p.m. We’re a fun group and we’re airconditioned.
The exercise/stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and the cards/games are on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in on the fun. Bring finger foods to share and have a fun time.

The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923Alberta Creek Road in Kingston has resumed their delicious Wednesday evening meal from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They are also starting Lighthouse Kids, a program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts, and games. It is held each Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. prior to the evening meal.
