The Texoma Volunteer Fire Department is having a Mexican Pile On fundraiser. It will be held Saturday, June 1 from 4:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. at the TFD Community Center. It is located at10978 Parkview in Kingston just south of Texoma State Park near the Rooster Creek Bridge.
The donation amount is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. The menu will consist of chips, meat, beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, jalepenos, picants sauce and sour cream. The dessert is included. There will be tea and water available for drinks.
All Proceeds go to the Volunteer Texoma Fire District.

The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the 1st Thursday of the Month at the Training/Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be on June 6, 2024. All are welcome to attend.
The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/ Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in For anyone interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, Contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-1400. Returncallsmightbedelayed as this is the Auxiliary phone and it is being monitored on a twice a week basis. So please give plenty of heads-up time. The cost is $75 per day. The building can only be rented by a member of the Texoma Fire District. Be advised, the capacity of the auxiliary building is 158.
The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday 6 p.m. to 7p.m. following the meal.
