The Madill Art Club proudly announces the 58th Annual Art Show to be held on the third weekend in October 18 through October 20. We will be displaying our artwork at the Marshall County Expo Center located on Highway 70 between Madill and Kingston.
The show, known as The Art Show at the Expo features hundreds of pieces of art covering a wide variety of categories and media. We will have watercolors, oils, acrylic, mixed media, collage, photographs, digital, sculpture and 3D. If you like realism, we will have landscapes, florals, portraits and still life. If you like abstracted art, you will be happy to see a full spectrum of abstract works.
We invite artists of all ages to participate. Our young artists, under 18, may enter their pieces with no entry cost. Registration forms are available at the Ruby Adkins Art Gallery, home to the Madill Art Club, at 403 E. Main Street. The forms can be requested by email at madillartclub@gmail.com or by calling Judy Peery at 580-565-9520.
The Madill Art Club is the oldest active art club in the state of Oklahoma. We have been creating and displaying art for our community for 58 years. If you have not seen our gallery or creative art center located in an historic brownstone building (just 2 blocks east of the downtown courthouse square) you simply must drop by soon. Our gallery and classrooms are open most days of the week and on Friday we open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. specifically to give free tours to the public.
The Art Show at the Expo is free to attend and is family friendly. Many of the art pieces in the show will be available to purchase and would make excellent Christmas gifts. Also, at the show will have items such as prints of original paintings, cards, ceramics and art objects for sale. This show is a great opportunity to kick off the Season of Giving with unique one of a kind items. Yes, we accept credit cards.
We encourage you to save the dates, October 18, 19 and 20 to bring the entire family to the 58th Art Show at the Expo!
