TheKingstonPTAbecame an association on July 20, 2023 and is sanctioned by the Oklahoma State PTA. The newgroupiscomposedoffour officers and a growing body of members. The officers are Alicia Elro, President; Krystal Brigman, Vice President; April Reid, Treasurer and Kassidy Amey, Secretary.
Elrod said the support they have received has been astounding.
'The Kingston PTA has great support from the teachers and administration at the Kingston Elementary School,' Elrod said. 'Principal Gill, and Vice Principal O'Steen havebeen morethan welcoming to the PTA.'
The Kingston PTA has participated in Meet the Teacher Night in August and the Kingston High School Homecoming Parade in September. Due to the success of their 1st fundraiser, the Kingston PTA was able to provide dinner for the admin, teachers and staff during Parent/ Teacher Conference night in October.
Theyaren'tstoppingthere. They are looking forward to several upcoming events planned at the school and throughout the community.
