A local family is mourning the loss of a loved one. Coty Howe, a 28-year-old male from Madill was found unresponsive and unfortunately passed away May 3, 2020. He was born December 19, 1991 in Oklahoma City, but was raised in Madill and Mannsville, Okla.
Even though it is unknown at the moment what he passed away from, his family said he had health issues.
Howe was the youngest brother to Tanya and Travis. Being the youngest of three, he was extremely close to his mother, Ragenia. He adored his mother and was devoted to her. Howe lived with her his entire life and stood by her side until he passed. Howe not only leaves behind his mother and two siblings, but he also leaves his four nephews and multiple cousins who all loved him.
His sister said he pushed through all the adversity he faced in his life, no matter what was thrown at him.
“His hobbies were staying one step ahead of everybody else and not letting his illness keep him down,” she said.
His mom said that anybody that knew him knew the lived his life on his own terms.
“He lived life his own way,” she said.
Friends have taken to Facebook to share their condolences and memories of him. One Facebook user posted, “Wow I'm still in shock!! I love you Coty Howe and you will be missed so much! You helped me in the time I need someone thank so much for that .and I'll never forget you baby cousin.”
