Hello Enos!

Here we are in September, school has resumed, football has started, Labor Day has come and gone (the unofficial end of summer) and the temperatures are still warm! Luckily, the heat index is beginning to drop. And soon, we will all be complaining about the cold weather.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Enos Community Center fundraiser. From preparing the food to those who came to eat. They had a good turnout.

A fundraiser for the Lark Cemetery is scheduled for November 9, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Enos Community Center. There will be beans and cornbread served as well as a silent auction. The funds raised will be used for upkeep expenses and new fencing for the Lark Cemetery. Donations can also be sent to Lark Cemetery c/o Terri Weaver Baker, 11885 Weaverville Lane, Kingston OK 73439.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for The Firefly Art Festival scheduled for October 10 to 13. This is an opportunity to enjoy shopping, live music, food trucks and arts/crafts. Mark your calendars for this great event. It will be held at LaJeanne’s Plants ‘N Things at 6909 Enos Road, Kingston.

The Monroe Family Reunion will be held Saturday, September 14 at the Enos Community beginning around 11:00 a.m. I hope you have a great turnout and share wonderful memories.

Happy birthday wishes to Derek Bishop, Lynn Kemp, Joe Webb and Kay McNamara.

Have a great week, do something nice for someone and remember to “Do more things that make you forget to check your phone.” - unknown.
