Business owner wants community to Glow

For anybody wanting that fresh, straight from the beach tan, look no further than There You Glow Tanning and Wellness. The new business, located at 103 East Highway 70 in Kingston, opened its doors in April. Owners Lindsey Morales and her husband Shawn may have just opened the tanning salon, but they are not new to being business owners.
“We have other businesses, but this is the first tanning salon,” Lindsey said.
Mr. Morales owns Crosswinds Guide Service on the lake, and together, the couple owns Grip-tek, a non-slip flooring company.
Her love of the community is what prompted the opening of the lone tanning salon in Kingston. “I moved here almost six years ago and thought Kingston is a wonderful area and place to live, why don’t we have more businesses here? I would go tanning, but the closest one was in Madill, which is not far away, but I thought it would be more convenient if we had one in town. So, I thought I would open one and see if others agreed.”
Lindsey said the community reaction to the tanning salon has been great. “So far, I’ve gotten positive feedback and I hope it continues.”
