Well, with autumn just around the corner on September 23, summer is on the downhill slide. The cooler temps. will be coming fast.
We have lay to rest several loved ones in these past weeks and it sure makes us humble to realize that life is but a short pause, before we go on to something bigger.
I hear the fish are still biting on Lake Texoma, although a little harder to find. October and November are the prime months for fishing Stripper. I hope all those that venture on the water to fish will be fruitful.
The summer has been a bustle of parties, birthdays, BBQ’s, weddings and what have you. I have been invited to a few and it is very humbling to have good friends to help us through this path we call life.
It is with sadness that a long time resident and friend has passed. Thelma Etherton left to be with our Lord on September
19. Her services were Tuesday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Wichita Kansas. She was one of the first people I had met when I moved down this way.
