The weather has been gorgeous, and these moonlit evenings, with the locust dancing in the dark have me thankful for living here in Oklahoma.
The Shay Community Center held their Appreciation Dinner last Thursday, September 12 and they enjoyed a large turn out. The food and fellowship was wonderful once again. Thank you to the board members and everyone who helped make it a success.
Another Bingo night is coming up on September 21 at 6:30 p.m. for the mini games and 7:30 p.m. for the regular bingo. It is always held at the Buncombe Creek Community Center in Perry Park so be sure to come and enjoy the games. Bring your favorite nibble for finger food to share.
The Open Arms Clothes Closet will be available from 9:00 a.m. – noon on Saturday, September 21 at the Texoma Southern Baptist Church.
We have lost several into God’s hands this past month. Dwayn Northcutt, Jim Blair and Ralph Graybeal. As well as others I haven’t mentioned here. Our short longevity reminds us to be humble and enjoy what we have in the moment. Have a great week and be safe.
