Time passes ever so quickly it seems. Christmas is only 17 days away from this Wednesday’s posting. The weather has been very pleasant for the most part, with sunshine most days.
The Buncombe Babes Red Hat group enjoyed their luncheon at Cheddar’s in Sherman on Friday, Dec. 3. Most proceeded to the shopping malls to fill gifts on their lists.
On Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., the Shay Community Center will be hosting their annual Christmas Party. The center will provide all the finger food, desserts and hot apple cider, coffee, or tea.
There will also be a gift exchange if you would like to participate. Gift must not exceed $10.00. If you bring children, please provide a gift for them as well. Hope to see you all there.
