Tyce Pruitt

Tyce Pruitt, an 18-year-old senior at Madill High School, hashadaremarkablejourney filled with academic and athletic accomplishments. Pruitt comes from a loving family, with his parents Dusty and Brooke Pruitt, siblings Trace and Trislyn, and grandparents Dan and Jamie Orr, Larry Pruitt and Deborah Wright.

Pruitt has been a part of the Madill school system since kindergarten and has actively participated in football and track. His dedication and hard work have paid off, as he has achieved notable successes.Hewon1stplaceat the Tulsa State Fair for creating wood racks in Shop Class and also secured 2nd and 3rd place for his Blacksmithing projects at the same fair.

He said that managing his time has been his biggest struggle, but he has persevered and overcome this challenge. He said he is thankfulforCoachPatterson, who pushed him harder in the weight room and provided encouragement when needed. He also appreciates Coach Sisco for supporting him throughout the years.

Pruitt said he finds inspiration in his grandfather, Dan Orr, who has been a significant Christ-like influence in his life. His advice to younger classmates is to avoid procrastination and seize every opportunity.

One of Pruitt’s favorite memories from sports is the Durant football game during his sophomore year, where his team emerged victorious. He expressed gratitude to his coaches for sticking by his side and supporting him throughout his athletic journey. He said he also thanks his parents for keeping him healthy, even when he doesn't make it easy.

Looking ahead, Pruitt plans to attend Murray State College to complete his basics before transferring to major in Mechanical Engineering. He expressed his gratitude to his grandparents for their unwavering support and also extends a heartfelt thank you to Brad and Ashley Watts for being the best adoptive family he could have asked for during his high school years. With the love and support of his family and friends, Pruitt is destined to achieve great success in his chosen field.
