Nacona Stuckey, a student at Madill High School, is the daughter of Stephanie Thomas and Ryan Stuckey. She has two siblings, Chasyn Thomas and Rylan Stuckey. She actively participates in Speech and Theatre, where she has achieved notable success.

Throughout her involvement in Speech, Stuckey has placed and received recognition in various tournaments. However, she said her biggest struggle has been simply making it through high school. Despite the challenges, she has persevered and worked hard to overcome obstacles.

She noted that one of her favorite memories is being a part of Speech and attending tournaments. The experiences and friendships formed in this activity have left a lasting impact on her. Additionally, Stuckey said she acknowledges the significant inspiration and support she has received from Mrs. Hartin, who has been a great advocate for her during her high school journey. Alongside her family, Mrs. Hartin has been a source of guidance and someone with whom she can have deep conversations.

Stuckey expressed deep gratitude towards her mom and nana for their unwavering support and being by her side through every decision she makes. Their presence and encouragement have been invaluable to her.

In the future, Stuckey said she plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University and pursue a major in psychology. With her determination and passion for the subject, she is poised to succeed in her chosen field.

Reflecting on her experiences, Stuckey offered some advice to those following in her footsteps.

“It is what it is, and don’t drop out.” These wise words speak to accepting and making the best of any given situation, while also emphasizing the importance of perseverance and staying committed to one’s goals.
