Wildcat Track & Field enjoyed some big performances in the Lake Country Conference Meet on Monday. The boys and girls teams had some personal bests spotlight the day. The boys 4x400m relay team finished 1st with a time of 3:30.83 and the 4x800m squad finished in the 2nd with a time of 8:28.13.
 

In the 400m event, Wildcat Blayze Adams took 1st place with a personal best time of 53.05. The 800m event saw Ryder Douglas wind up with a respectable 4th place finish with a time of 2:06.10. Finally, in the boys Pole Vault event, two Wildcats hit high marks finishing 2nd and 3rd.
 

Eli Vinson was the runner up with a height of 13 ft. and Christian Robledo finished 3rd with a height of 12 ft. 6 inches. For the Lady Wildcats, Yadira Barbosa had an impressive day as she topped the 3200m event with a personal best 11:56.19 and finished 2nd in the 1600m with a time of 5:35.89.
 

The girls relay teams showed well on Monday as the 4x100m team took 2nd place with a 53.51 time, and the 4x800m squad finished just outside the top 3 with a 10:46.51 and a 4th place finish. Zeplyn Thomas sped her way to a 2nd place finish in the 100m event with a 13.28 time. The hurdlers showed up and finished well in both the 100m Hurdles and the 300m Hurdles. In the 100m Hurdles, Codie Shaw finished 3rd with a 19.55 time and Starr Holmes was close behind her with a time of 19.92 and a 4th place finish.
 

Meanwhile, Emma Edwards finished 3rd in the 300m Hurdles with a final time of 58.26 and Codie Shaw came in 4th with a 57.68 time in that event.
 

Madill will be the site of the upcoming Regional Meet on April 27.
