The season is underway for Coach Bobby McAdoo and his Redskins. McAdoo begins his first year as a head coach after assisting Taylor Wiebener last season. The Wampus Cats were ready to make up for years of frustration against the Redskins on November 29 and it showed. The Redskins lost, 78 to 40.

The starting lineup for the Redskins was Drew Anderson, Eli Oliger, Brock Rumer, CashWalkerandReidCason. Not only is junior Cason the only returning starter from last year’s squad, there are no seniors on the team. This team is mostly made up of sophomores and freshmen.

In the first quarter, Rumer hit a three pointer and Anderson had two points. Meanwhile, theWampusCatswere off to 21-point quarter.

Second quarter had Oliger with a bucket and Cason with a free throw. Half time score, 40 to 8, in favor of the Wampus Cats.

The third quarter had the Redskins picking up the scoring. Cason had two field goals, one a dunk, and two free throws. Rumer had a three pointer. Oliger had a field goal and two free throws.

Anderson had a field goal. The score after three was 61 to 23.

The fourth quarter turned out to be the Redskins best scoring total. Ewan Weaver led the way with three field goalsandafreethrow.Anderson, Oliger and Sam Walker all had field goals. Rumer hit another three pointer. Rafe Patterson added a free throw. The final score was 78 to 40.

Box Score Rumer led the way with nine points, all from threepoint range. Next was Oliger with eight points, Cason and Weaver each had seven. Anderson had six, Walker (Sam) had two and Patterson (Rafe) with one.
