The Kingston Redskins facedtheSulphurBulldogson December 16. One valuable lesson the young Redskins have learned this difficult season is to not to get down on themselves. After a twopoint first quarter it would have been easy to give up. However, the persevered and took the game 45 to 40 over the Sulphur Bulldogs.

In the first quarter, Eli Oliger saved the Redskins from a shut out quarter. He had a field goal. After one quarter, the Redskins were trailing, 10 to 2.

Reid Cason was finally able to get started. He had a field goal and was 2 of 2 from the line. Brock Rumer hit a badly needed three pointer. HaydenSeeneyhadabucket.

Oliger again had a bucket and was 1 of 3 from the line. With three minutes left in the second, the Redskins had trimmed the lead to three points. The Bulldogs stretched it to a five point lead, 19 to 14, at the halftime.

The third quarter had the lead going back and forth. Seeney and Oliger each had timely three pointers to keep the lead within reach. Cash Walker got his first bucket and it could not have come at a better time. Cason chipped awaywithtwofieldgoals.The Redskins finally had a lead 27 to 25 after three quarters.

It appeared the Bulldog plan was not to let Cason beat them underneath. However, they found out he is a good free-throw shooter. They should have kept an eye on Seeney. He hit a big three and was 2 of 2 from the line. Meanwhile, Cason was going to the line, over and over. He finished 10 of 13 and added a field goal. Oliger added a free throw. The Redskins won 45 to 40.
