Haylee Elkins

Haylee Elkins is a senior atMadillHighSchoolandhas exceled in everything she has put her mind to do.

She noted that her parents, Steve and Jennifer Elkins, have been a constant source of support for her. She also has a brother named Hunter and a twin sister named Hannah. Her grandparents, RayandKayElkins, as well as Jeff and Maribeth Hudson, have been a huge part of her life.

Haylee actively participates in various extracurricular activities, including basketball, the Fellowship of ChristianAthletes(FCA),the National Honor Society, the Johnson O’Malley program (JOM), and the Gifted and Talented (GT) program.

During her sophomore year, Haylee and her basketball team achieved the title of district champions, a significant accomplishment. She said the success brought her great joy and pride.

She said that one of her favorite basketball memories was playing in the championship game during the winter classic in her senior year.

She said that Coach Humphrey and Coach Estes have been an integral part in her athletic achievements. Their guidance and support have motivated her to continually improve her skills and push herself to new heights.

Haylee said her parents have been a constant source of support, love and nurturing.

She said she wanted to express her gratitude to her coaches for believing in her, never giving up on her, and pushing her to be the best version of herself.

To her parents, she wanted to convey a heartfelt thank you for always being there for her and for pushing her to become the person she is today. Their love and support have been invaluable to her.

After high school, Haylee said she plans to attend Murray State College to pursue a nursingdegree.Herambition is to become a nurse, making a difference in the lives of others through compassionate care.

To her younger classmates, she advised them to cherish every moment and enjoy the high school experience to the fullest. She encourages them to stay strong, persevere through challenges, and never give up because all the hard work is worth it in the end.

Haylee Elkins is a determined and driven studentathlete with a bright future ahead. With her passion for sports, commitment to her studies, and desire to make a difference as a nurse, she is poised to achieve great things..
