GregPadgettisan18-yearold student at Madill High School. He has been a part of the Madill community since kindergarten and is now a senior. Padgett comes from a loving family, with parents Greg and Brittany Padgett, a brother named Draden Padgett, and his grandmother Tammi.

In addition to his immediate family, Padgett said he considershisbasketballteam and friends JD Runyan and Mcray Tripp as part of his extended family. They have formedstrongbondsandsupport each other both on and off the court.

Padgett actively participates in basketball, golf, and track, showcasing his versatility and athletic abilities. His biggest challenge, according to him, is proving thedoubterswrongandmaking believers out of the haters. Despite this challenge, Padgett said he remains determined and focused on achieving his goals.

He noted that one of his favorite memories are the ones he creates with his friends during trips and games. These experiences have brought them closer together and have been a source of joy and camaraderie.

When it comes to inspiration, Padgett attributed all the glory to God. He said he recognizes the importance of faith in his life and sports journey, finding inspiration and strength in his beliefs.

Padgett said he believes that success in basketball, and in life, requires a strong team effort. He emphasized the importance of playing as a united team to achieve their goals, particularly making it to state competitions.

Expressing his gratitude, Padgett said he wanted to thank his parents for their unwavering support and presence in his life, no matter the circumstances. Their love and guidance have been instrumental in shaping him into the person he is today.

Looking ahead, Padgett said he plans to attend college and pursue a business degree with the goal of starting his own business. He is motivated to build a successful career and make a positive impact in the business world.
