Gracie Cryer

Gracie Cryer is a senior at Kingston High School, and she is the daughter of Steven and Bobbie Cryer. Gracie has been on the Kingston Golf team since 6th grade. She said that playing sports has taught her that life is not always fair and even though things do not always go the way people want them to, they have to keep going.

Cryer said she likes golf because it is quiet, but the hardest part is lining up the ball. Coach Weeks has motivated her the most, she said..

“She never let me give up even when I wanted to,” Cryer noted Her favorite Kingston athlete to watch is her teammate, Meredith Reid.

“Gracie is a kid that always makes you smile,” Weeks said. “She has been anabsolutepleasuretocoach. She will definitely be missed at KHS.”

Cryer said her favorite classatKHSisForensics,and she appreciates her teacher Mrs. Salyer. “She [Salyer] is dedicated to helping her students succeed.”

Shenotedthatherfavorite school memory is HOCO week 2023. In her spare time, she loves doing art, shopping, and hanging out with her friends and boyfriend.

After graduation, Cryer plans on becoming an X-Ray Technician.
